
SafeNest has been at the forefront of ending domestic and sexual violence in Southern Nevada for 44 years. What sets us apart is the commitment to treating the entire continuum of violence from prevention to protection to empowerment. We not only provide a discreet, safe shelter for victims of abuse, but SafeNest is also the only nonprofit in the Valley to provide resources for batterers to address the cycle of abuse at the root.

Across all programs, SafeNest provides direct services to clients across Clark County. Tracing roots back to 1977, our past, present and future are focused on ending domestic and sexual violence. Today, SafeNest continues to innovate and grow under the leadership of Liz Ortenburger, chief executive officer, and the commitment of 82 dedicated full and part time staff.

Ronald McDonald House programs and services help alleviate some financial burdens for families along their child’s healthcare journey. Last year alone, we helped families save $678 million in lodging and meal expenses. Wishlist

You can make a difference in the fight against hunger. For every $1 given, Three Square can provide up to 3 meals for hungry families, seniors, and children in need. Plus, $.95 of every $1 goes toward food distribution. The Red Rock Democratic Club is supporting this worthwhile organization from January through April 2026. We'll be collecting your financial donations and food contributions at our General Meetings and events. Three Square does not accept toiletries, clothing, or other non-food items.
